Come By Starlight by Kevin M. Hibshman
Come By Starlight
Cold Night.
Stars like powder in your veins.
God speed over shifty desert plains.
The candle waits as the passion flames in remembrance.
Fumes waft silently and they trace a spell.
I sense your body dropping in the dunes.
Sand coarse on your smooth face.
What is veiled shall soon be revealed.
What has been held in amber shall soon be released.
All eyes free to gaze upon this bright burning love.
Come by starlight with the stealth of a cat.
How my arms reach for you as tablas tap a memory.
Across endless miles.
Across enemy lines, you must by starlight, come to me.
