I am wondering how old you were when they had sex on your bed, if they were drunk and when you talked about the other worldly being, what you called it and what those conversations were like. Also,how did the trench coat guys approach or tellpeople and what did they say? What amazing memories . . .I am so terrified of UFO’s because I have seen one and I don’t get the feeling they are ET loveable types at all . . .

I feel you. Unfortunately prejudice will not be completely eliminated and the cloak that envelops your being will not be put into the closet permanently. I am 66 years old and have had to live a dual life for most of them and dare not at this late date out myself. As I said I feel for you.

I just read a piece from Nothing to Hide about Gays at UW. I am not gay, but I was surprised to hear about the 1962 gay purge. I attended UW in the late 60′s and early 70′s. Although gays had not come out, a few were obvious on campus, one seemed to spend a lot of time in the Union men’s room. When I took PE in the old red gym, we had to swim nude, most of us never looked down, i.e. below the waist, at other guys. In my case I didn’t care one way or the other, and my last semester I had a gay roommate, who was part of the “Eat the rich” and Dada sticker campaign.
